Responsibilities: | Operates emergency communications equipment, which receives and dispatches police, fire and emergency medical calls via telephone and electronic dispatch equipment. Also, operates various on-line data entry terminals. The Communications Center is a 24/7/365 operation. |
Salary: | $20.05 - $22.91 per hour |

Qualifications: | U.S. citizen; High school diploma; Good verbal and written communication skills; React quickly and effectively to stressful situations; Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; Ability to keyboard/type words per minute - 35; Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems; Clear and concise speech; Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously; Ability to perform essential functions of this position |
