Responsibilities: Corrections within the Burnett County Jail as well as Dispatching duties.
Salary: $19.10 per hour
Salary dependent on qualifications

Qualifications: U.S. citizen; Minimum age - 18; Driver license; Good driving record; Good physical condition; Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification; High school diploma; No felony convictions; No domestic abuse convictions; Vision correctable to 20/20; Good verbal and written communication skills; React quickly and effectively to stressful situations; Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems; Clear and concise speech; Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously; Ability to perform essential functions of this position; Ability to use all standard law enforcement equipment

Responsibilities: As a Communications Officer you will be the first point of contact for a citizen needing police, fire, or EMS assistance in the county. You will work in a fast paced environment to to provide mission support for first responder units in the field.
Salary: $20.31 - $27.52 per hour
