Responsibilities: Position description available upon request. Answering point for 9-1-1 & administrative calls to the police department. Dispatch police, fire & EMS. Operate radio, telephone, CAD/RMS computer systems. Performs clerical tasks, cash handling, registering vehicles, & issue permits.
Salary: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Salary dependent on qualifications

Qualifications: U.S. citizen; Minimum age - 18; Driver license; Good driving record; Good physical condition; High school diploma; Ability to possess a firearm; No felony convictions; No domestic abuse convictions; Vision correctable to 20/20; Good verbal and written communication skills; React quickly and effectively to stressful situations; Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; Ability to keyboard/type words per minute - 25; Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems; Clear and concise speech; Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously; Ability to perform essential functions of this position; Ability to use all standard law enforcement equipment; Ability to operate standard office equipment, computers, fax, etc. Ability to work 3 days on afternoon shift and 3 days on night shift, as well as, overtime.
