Responsibilities: This job classification consists of public safety telecommunications calls for service, and radio transmission to the Wood County Dispatch Center - Public Service Answering Point (PSAP). This provides the vital first-link between the citizens and various emergency services of Wood County.
Salary: $19.25 - $22.05 per hour

Qualifications: U.S. citizen; Minimum age - 18; High school diploma; No felony convictions; No domestic abuse convictions; Good verbal and written communication skills; React quickly and effectively to stressful situations; Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; Ability to keyboard/type words per minute - 45; Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems; Clear and concise speech; Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously; Ability to perform essential functions of this position; One to two years of additional schooling preferred.
